Cheng Mei Instrument Technology Co., Ltd(CMIt) has been established in Taichung since May, 1995. We represented small measuring equipments as a start; however, we become the exclusive agent for a known Germany 3D measuring system company in Taiwan in the same year. Since then, we have been focusing on the sales and service for the 3D measuring systems in Taiwan and China. So far, more than 200 systems were sold in Taiwan and China.

           Striving toward an independent and hard but long way to go, a concept of researching and developing new machine was growing in CMIt in 2001. Therefore, excellent engineers were gathered to work for a new-developed machine. At the same time, we looked for qualified vendors and sophisticated technologies from abroad to put into our system. Finally, we launched and sold our very first ‘CMIt' system to a semi-conductor manufacturer in 2004. The system brand ‘CMIt' was first time known by the market.

         In year 2005, to enhance the customer service and reduce time to the market, we moved Taichung head quarter and Linkuo branch to Zhubei city. Now we concentrate on the improvement of the yield rate of the system inspection, development of state-of-the-art systems for customers and implement of a long-term business vision. The employee numbers is increased from 2 staff to 25 staff now. Moreover, CMIt is approved and certified by ISO9001:2000 of her quality management systems in February 2007, which moves us to the next stage of being a manufacturer.
